Steele’s paternal grandfather is Victor John Stebbins (the son of William John Stebbins and Sara Anne “Sally” Wales). Victor was born in California. William was the son of Delbert Leroy Stebbins and Lovina Grimshaw. Sara was the daughter of Victor Clarence Wales, Sr. and Sara Clingan.
Steele’s paternal grandmother is Debora Lou Christl (the daughter of Clarence Emil Christl and Helen June Perlenfein). Debora was born in Minnesota.
